There is a lot of media attention given to anti-aging products and treatments for women, from Olay and Garnier commercials to celebrity gossip rags with headlines screaming about which stars had work done and who looks fabulous "for their age." I don't really give any of it much thought because I still consider myself too young to even care (plus my mom looks amazing and I'm hoping it's genetic), but I will admit that ever since I entered my 30s I've added eye cream and a Vitamin C serum to my nighttime beauty routine--I consider them to be preventive since I don't actually have any wrinkles yet. So tell me, how do you feel about the anti-aging industry--you into it or no? And if you are, what products or treatments have you used or plan to try? I'm dying to hear from you!
I'm so slacking when it comes to this department. I definitely always wear sunscreen and stay out of the sun but don't do much else besides using a skin firming night cream.... I need to learn more about it!
I always heard that sunscreen helps with anti-aging. Right now i am actually using cocoa butter and i love it. It leaves my skin feeling and lookin awesome!!
Ok so for daily anti-aging routine, I moisturize on a daily basis, exfoliate, and use witch hazel as my toner. When I'm having my monthly breakouts I don't use moisturizer on those areas and use a mud mask on those areas. Oh lately I've been using baking soda as my daily scrub and using lemon and honey mask on my oily areas as well.

ReplyDeleteSunscreen is a must! I use a moisturizer with SPF so I don't have to think about a separate sunscreen.

ReplyDeleteCocoa butter is excellent! Keeps skin smooth and even, therefore younger looking.

ReplyDeleteOoh, I love witch hazel! There's a peach-scented one (I can't think of the brand) that I like because I don't like the smell of actual witch hazel.
