Friday Favorites

October is upon us which means we are officially in the home stretch of 2015. I can hardly believe how quickly this year has gone by; how quickly the past few years have gone by! My big girl will be six this month, as in six years old. She was just over four pounds when we brought her home--she didn't even weigh as much as the blanket she was swaddled in--and now she's going to six years old! Time is truly not on my side. For the next couple of weeks I'm going to try to soak up as much of her five-year old self as I can, because come the end of the month she will never be five again. We've got fun plans this weekend to go watch the football team my husband coaches, then on Sunday we're baking these scones as a thank you gift for friends who supported her school fundraiser.
