Friday Favorites

December 18 is sort of a magical day; it's exactly one week before Christmas, and while many people are stressed out as they scurry to get last minute gifts or groceries for their holiday feast, I rather enjoy these final days before the 25th. Unlike my husband, I don't mind the holiday crowds, and actually, I quite like them because, even though we're all celebrating in our own way, it sort of feels like we're in this together. This weekend we'll be joining the crowds of last minute shoppers to pick up a few more things, then I want to grab some hot chocolate and cookies, pack up the kids in the car, and take a drive to see some holiday lights.
