It's the first full weekend of autumn, and while it still feels very much like summer in Phoenix, I have the urge to do some baking, one of my favorite fall pastimes. I've made exactly one apple pie in my entire life (and that was with the help of a few peers in my high school cooking class), so I might give it a go this weekend.
