Cinco de Mayo Party Ideas

Cinco de Mayo is always a fun holiday. There's no buildup like there is with holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving, but there's good food, good drinks, and lots of colorful decorations. Here are a few ideas to spice up a Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Olé!


FOOD PRESENTATION
Individual nacho servings, guacamole presented in an authentic pestle, and cactus leaves as serving platters--brilliant ideas, and so colorful!

DRINKS
A tequila cocktail for anyone who isn't into margaritas, a crowd-pleasing margarita recipe for everyone who is, and horchata for the kiddos. 
 
DECOR
Piñatas as cookies, centerpieces, or hanging decorations.

    I am not going to a Cinco de Mayo party this weekend but I am going to my friends one year anniversary party for the opening of his rocker billy barber shop! But these look great! Especially the individual nachos.
